WordPress’s “Press This” widget a big time-saver
The WordPress.com software upgrade to 2.7 includes a new tool, “Press This,” that works like the “Share on Facebook” widget I use daily to post items there. Using “Press This” means it’s easier to post items on my blog, which makes it easier for me to do my blog and easier to make my blog into what I want. For years, I have been emailing links to new media stories to friends and colleagues and then posting items on Facebook. It’s a big time-saver. I’m going to be using it a lot.

Yes, I attended a Charlotte Wordcamp hosted by The Charlotte Observer. The keynote was on the upcoming 2.7 release. It was great. Lots of new stuff. I like the new admin screen.
